A LOOK AT LIFE!

Psalm 90

The Right Perspective:

1. The Sovereignty of God. (verses 1-2)
   • a) He is a Tremendous God.
   • b) He is a Tender God.
   • c) He is a Timeless God.
2. The Sympathy of God. (verses 3-4)
   • a) The Lord knows the tyranny of the Tomb.
   • b) The Lord knows the tyranny of Time.
3. The Severity of God. (verses 5-6)

Death comes to all – it is the great equaliser of all on this planet.

The Real Problem:

1. Our lives are known to God – our iniquities and secret sins He sees (verses 7-8).
2. Our lives are so short – life can be quite brief through sickness and sorrow (verses 9-10).
3. Our lives are numbered and we will have to give an account – we need a heart of wisdom (verses 11-12).

The Resulting Prayer brings:

1. The Moving of God. (verse 13)
2. The Mercy of God. (verses 14-15)
3. The Might of God. (verses 16)
4. The Majesty of God. (verses 17)
