Psalm 24 – The Triumphs of the Messiah.

1. The Triumph of His creation as Lord -

His wisdom and design over all that was made - Psalm 24:1-2. Hebrews 1:10.

His power and dominion over all – Matthew 28:18.

2. The Triumph of the Prophesied Prophet and Priest -

His ascent to the Hill of the Lord on earth – Psalm 24:3-6.

His triumphal entry into Jerusalem and to the Temple - Zech 9:9; Matt 21:5-12.

3. The Triumph of the Crucified Christ -

His ascension into Heaven as Conqueror - Psalm 24:7-8. Colossians 2:15.

His abiding ministry as Mediator and Redeemer - 1Timothy 2:5; John 14:6.

4. Triumph of the Glorified King -

His entry with His people as the Lord of hosts - Psalm 24:9-10; John 14:3.

His glorified Throne in Heaven at the right hand of God – Mark 16:19.

The King and His Kingdom.

1. HIS CLAIM – Psalm 24:1-2.

2. HIS CALL – Psalm 24:3-6.

The Question – verse 3.

The Answer – verses 4 which contains four conditions.

The Blessings – verses 5 to 6 which are given to those who seek Him.

3. HIS COMING – Psalm 24:7-10.

He shall reign and rule over His creation and Messianic Kingdom and
then for all eternity as the King of Glory.
