SPIRITUAL POWER.

PSALM 114

Introduction: This Psalm speaks of the Power of God in His Deliverance of Israel.

To us then we can see the same pattern for New Testament saints, as our Lord is the same yesterday and today. We can therefore pick out the spiritual life application principles and learn the lessons.

1. THE ROOTS OF SPIRITUAL POWER – verses 1-2.
• a) Separation – verse 1.
• b) Sanctification – verse 2a.
• c) Surrender – verse 2b.
2. THE RESULTS OF SPIRITUAL POWER – verses 3-8.

Things begin to happen……

• a) Obstacles will be Removed – verse 3. (Exodus 14:21 & Joshua 3:11-17).
• b) Opportunities will be Revealed – verses 4-6.

(Exodus 19:18. Psalm 29:5-6. Habakkuk 3:6).
(Habakkuk 3:8).

Throngs begin to hearken.....

• c) Conviction – verse 7. (Psalm 112:1-4).
• d) Conversion – verse 8. (Psalm 107:43).
