But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He that eateth bread with Me hath
lifted up his heel against Me’ . . . Verily, Verily, I say unto you, that
one of you shall betray Me . . . And when He had dipped the sop, He gave
it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop Satan entered
into him. Then said Jesus unto him, ‘That thou doest, do quickly’.
|3. THEY SHALL DELIVER HIM TO MOCK AND TO SCOURGE IN ISAIAH 50: 6

Until I make Thine enemies Thy foot-stool.
The Lord hath said unto Me,
Thou art My Son,
This day have I begotten Thee.
|THE SCRIPTURE WAS FULFILLED IN ACTS 2: 34-36 AND ACTS 13: 32, 33|
|For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, ‘The
Lord said unto my Lord, Sit Thou on my right hand, Until I make Thy foes
Thy foot-stool’. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that
God hath made that same Jesus, Whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Messiah.
|And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made
unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in
that He hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second
Psalm, ‘Thou art My Son, This day have I begotten Thee’.
