Tanakh Prophecies Fulfilled

An examination of the two branches in the stream of Messianic prophecy as shown
in the Tanakh, showing their fulfilment in the Brit Hadasha of the Holy Bible.

2. The Son of David – A Kingly Messiah

Psalm 110:4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind:”You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” TO BE A PRIEST FOREVER LIKE MELCHIZEDECK Hebrews 6:20 Where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.
Daniel 7:13-14 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshipped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never pass away. TO COME AGAIN Matthew 26:63-64 The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ (or Messiah), the Son of G-d.” “Yes, it is as you say,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

The above prophecies and the ones to follow are only some of the over three
hundred found in the Tanakh and Brit Hadasha, which appertain to Jesus Christ.
Mathematicians have worked out that the odds of one individual fulfilling just
48 of the prophecies found in the Holy Bible are 10 to the power of 15, in other
words the figure 10 followed by fifteen zeros. Many are outside the control
of the person fulfilling them. The evidence is therefore very strong indeed
and each one of us individually must decide what to do with the facts and statements
of Jesus Christ. Both Jews and Christians alike believe in the coming of the
Messiah to usher in a period of peace and a new order of living. We should be
willing to examine the evidence for ourselves without listening to the advice
of others as the Lord G-d is going to judge each one of us on an individual
basis. What better evidence than that contained in the Tanakh?

May you then, the reader, be challenged and moved to consider these scriptural
prophecies. They point to the fulfilment of the hopes and aspirations of Jews
and Christians alike. Of whom do the prophets speak? The conclusion seems inescapable.

During the last twenty four hours of Jesus’ life, 33 prophecies were fulfilled.

The odds of this being a coincidence are 1 in 33,554,432; in other words,
impossible! Many of the prophecies and their fulfilment were outside of His
control. Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach) is the Messiah, the Anointed One of G-d.
